Dr. Jerome Siegel

Dr. Jerome Siegel, a native of Atlanta, GA, graduated from the Medical College of Georgia with honors. After completing an internship at Allentown Hospital, he fulfilled his military commitment as a Flight Surgeon in the U.S. Air Force. Dr. Siegel completed a residency in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center and the Veterans Administration Hospital in the Bronx. Dr. Siegel completed a fellowship in Gastroenterology and Liver Diseases at the Royal Free Hospital, University of London, England.

Dr. Siegel is board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. He has been an attending at Beth Israel Medical Center and is a Clinical Professor of Medicine, Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He has been the director and co-director of the Advanced Fellowship in Therapeutic Endoscopy at Beth Israel since the program’s inception.

Dr. Siegel is a pioneer in therapeutic endoscopy and a leader in the field of ERCP for the management and treatment of pancreatico-biliary diseases. He is a Master of the American College of Gastroenterology, a fellow and Master Endoscopist of the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, a fellow of the American Gastroenterological Association and a fellow of many other U.S. and International organizations.
